Toward Districts
The network now has local safe motherhood networks in 4 districts.
The district level network has helped mobilizing communities to
advocate for safe motherhood. Based on the results of the pilot
district, the model and approach will be modified and replicated
in another 6 districts and eventually across the country. One
of the VDC in Baglung district even formed a VDC level Safe Motherhood
Network. This is the first of its kind and has also got a small
secretariat office at the VDC. The lead focal organizations in
