Since
its formation in 1996, SMN has been successful in holding national
workshops for planners, decision makers and practitioners, including
“Inter-sectoral Workshop: Understanding Safe Motherhood?(1997),
“Progress and Outcomes of Cairo Conference in Nepal?(1999), ?The
Power of Partnership: Mobilization for Change by Creating an Enabling
Environment?(1999), “National Conference on Safe Motherhood: Best
Practices and Lessons Learnt?(2000), Working Towards a Safer Motherhood
Competent Network (2002), “How Establish District Level Network?
(2003). Also, several dialogue and interaction program between policy
makers, service providers, service seekers and journalists (2000,
2002, 2003).
